CARIB CEMENT IS JIE PROJECT OF THE YEAR

THE Caribbean Cement Company Limited (CCCL) Kiln 5 project has been named “Project of the Year” by the Jamaica Institution of Engineers (JIE).

JIE President, David Chung presented the award on Saturday, November 28, 2009, at the organisation’s annual awards banquet at the Jamaica Pegasus to Ken Wiltshire, manager for the project which encompasses the construction of a new 2,800 metric tones per day clinker manufacturing line at the company’s Rockfort, Kingston plant.
